Summary

Have you wondered what’s so hard about painting?

Once you’ve learned and practiced the bones and sinew of drawing, painting in any medium is much easier. Because it’s really all about seeing, and drawing is seeing.

It’s not just for seeing and drawing and painting the world we see around us; abstract art of any kind depends on the same relationships that realism depends on.

So, we learn to see by learning to draw and then learning to paint with color. And it all begins by seeing, which begins with drawing.

This seven session class will strengthen all of these abilities for you. It just plain old opens up your life.

Cost

$335 (members) or $395 (non-members) tuition for all 7 classes, to be paid through the Oregon Society of Artists (OSA).
